To keep up with the insatiable appetite of our growing babies, we are launching a deliciously tasty toddler range aimed at the 10+ month age group. With the same Plum ethos of ‘real food for babies, not just baby food’, the toddler meals include yummy adult style recipes, packed with sumptuous flavours and more ‘lumpy’ textures for babies to chew chew! and get their new teeth around.
Susie used inspiration from family holidays in France and Italy to come up with the new range. More adventurous ingredient choices such as ditalini pasta, aubergine and olive oil, give babies a taste of things to come. They also come in larger 200g single servings in handy reusable bowls and contain more substantial protein and carbohydrate levels, to provide babies with the extra nutrients and energy as they start to get moving and discover the world for themselves.

Aubergine and sweet red pepper provencal
This exciting mix of flavours packed into one little pot, creates a delicious and wholesome meal that will ensure smiles all round. The rich flavour of aubergine is the perfect complement to the tantalizingly sweet red peppers.
Root vegetable and beef ragout
A rich blend of organic root vegetables with succulent beef is commbined to provide babies with all the nutritional goodness they could possibly need. The purposefully ‘lumpy’ texture of the ragout gives babies a perfect opportunity to put their new chewing skills to the test!
Ditalini pasta with pesto and super greens
This delectable combination of pasta with basil pesto and nutritious vegetables guarantees a happy, healthy baby and introduces them to the wonderful world of super greens – which are full of essential vitamins and minerals.
Our new toddler range has been developed in a direct response to demand by Plum mums to keep their growing babies hungry tummies happy. The soft, puree weaning 4+ month range that starts all babies off on the right track, then the ‘fork mash’ texture of the 7+ month recipes, this more textured, toddler specific range will certainly satisfy their increasing appetites and give them everything they need nutritionally. We have weaned over 2 million babies since we launched in 2006 and we can’t wait to see our Plum generation of toddlers with a satisfied smile on their face.
The toddler range will be available from Waitrose on 22nd September, and then Boots and Sainsburys later in the year with an RRP of £1.99 for a 200g single serve bowl.
