Cooking at Home
From first tastes to family meals
As your baby's tastes develop, they should be able to eat the same meals as the rest of the family.
This is good for you as you can simply cook the family meal (avoiding salt, sugar etc) set aside your baby's portion, then add the desired flavourings for the rest of the family to enjoy.
It's also good for your baby as it widens their palette, encourages them to adapt to your pattern of eating and enables them to share in family mealtimes.
If time allows, encourage your baby to get involved in the preparation or cooking of the meal to help them develop a real love of food.
