The Way We Do Things
Our ethics
We try hard to make Plum Baby an ethical business, looking out for the well-being of people and the planet. We’re not perfect, but we’re trying to do the right thing.
Organic Farmers & Growers
We work closely with Organic Farmers & Growers who provide our organic certification. They are an organisation that promotes sustainability, animal welfare and empowering farmers and growers.
Charities
Our repackaging and sending of samples is carried out for us by Enham, a charity that helps disabled people find work, live more independently and have a better quality of life.
We have a regular collection for used stamps and bottle tops in the office and send them to local charities to raise funds.
Green credentials
We've always been concerned about the impact our business could have on climate change. So to minimise our greenhouse gas emissions we have taken great care to reduce our carbon footprint, with the help of the Carbon Neutral Company.
Across the business we ask ourselves one simple question - how and where can we use less?
We recycle - our polymer pots are 100% recyclable and our day-to-day use of office paper, cardboard, bottles and cans are recycled through Baxter Environmental. We use Remarkable Recycled products.

“Just been having a peek at 'plum vision' and I am absolutely wowed by you!! Jack has already tried your spinach parsnip and basil and loves it - so do we as a matter of fact! We'll most certainly be trying out more of your products. Simply inspirational! Thank you.” Jenny, Rob and baby Jack
“My little girl is quite a fussy eater, at one point you could not even get the spoon into her mouth - that was until she tried Plum - and we've not looked back since. I must admit Mummy had to have a little try and wow, so scrumptious!” Tracey
“I tried our eldest first on jars as I hadn't heard about Plum and he absolutely and completely refused them. When I smelt and tasted them I could completely understand where he was coming from! I am from Peru, so I know that those two, quinoa and amaranth, are very nutritious. I am very happy to give to my daugther, who is 6 months old, food from my country of origin.” Aracelly

“Just wanted to say how delighted i am with your range of baby food. My 7 month old daughter will keep opening and closing til the whole pot is gone and she especially loves the blueberry, banana and vanilla flavour she say's 'mmm' after every mouthful! Also the pots are so convenient and as a mum of 3 i often have to grab a pot and run! Using Plum baby food takes the guilt away from not having time to make my own. Knowing I’m buying the best helps Thank you very much and keep up the good work!” Nikki and baby Anabelle
“I just wanted to write to thank you. Before my daughter was weaning, i was adamant that all her food would be home cooked, but after looking at your products (and her trying them!) we are firmly a Plum baby family. Many Thanks again for making life a bit easier!” Stacey & baby Poppy
