finger foods
Once your baby shows an interest in grabbing and holding things and their coordination improves, you can introduce some soft finger foods such as steamed vegetables, slices of soft fruit and sticks of cheese.
As long as they can chew and the foods you offer them are soft and easy to swallow, then finger food is a ‘go’ – but never, and we mean never, leave your child unattended while eating. It’s always possible something could go down the wrong way, so don’t take the risk, keep one eye on the munching at all times.
