Excellent Product for first tastes Review by dannielle

I gave this to my 4 month old daughter this morning for her breakfast and she polished off almost the full pouch. She absolutely loved it and I will definately be picking up some more when I go shopping. (Posted on 03/05/2012)
Ideal Weaning Food Review by SussexMummy
Quality
Sadly my Little Man was well past this stage food when we were sent it to sample, but if it'd been there when we'd started weaning I'd have been straight down to the shops to buy it!
Perfect because it is suitable for before 6 months and in a convenient pouch. Ideal for the start of weaning.
We used it as a snack/pudding for my little boy. He ate it all up willingly!! (Posted on 18/08/2011)

Runny but Yummy!! Review by Allison
Quality
At first I was hesitant on the flavour of this one ( I think I was thinking about my own hatred of prunes!) however my baby girl Eloise, who's 8 months did not feel the same - she loved it!

I was worried the flavour would be too strong, but not so. The texture is lovely and smooth, a little too runny if I had to find one small complaint- it dribbled off the flat weening spoons, so a little more thickness might help, but as these are for babies from 4 months + it would be perfect for little ones.

Will buy defintely buy again, I think it might even help when babies are a little bit 'bunged up' too! (Posted on 22/07/2011)
All Gone! Review by Claire

This lovely, new breakfast has gone down really well with my daughter. You can tell when she's really enjoying a food as her little legs cycle away - well, when tasting this she was doing the Lands End to John O'Groats sprint!

It was very easy to use, so ideal for a busy morning. The pouch was finished in no time, I think next time I'll add it to some cereal to bulk up the texture and make it a bit more filling.

I really like that this pouch has a different taste (prune) from a lot of the other breakfasts out there, that's a real selling point for me as I like to try new flavours with baby. (Posted on 21/07/2011)
A little runny but very yummy! Review by charlotte

My little girl loved the banana breakfast so I wasn't sure how she would take to this one. It took her a few attempts to take to the flavour but once she did, there was no stopping her! The consistency was slightly runny which made breakfast a little messy but when you have a baby you get used to things like that!!

She absolutely loved it! Review by Catherine

My daughter (7 months) has started being a little fussy about food and firmly shuts her mouth with lots of things I offer her at the moment but I am delighted to report that this was not one of them!

From the first spoonful she couldn't get enough, she made that lovely squeaky noise that she makes when she is enjoying the food and she gobbled it all down with delight. I could have, in fact, probably given her two pouches!

I had a taste as well, and like other reviewers have said was a bit uncertain as to whether I would like the prune but it was very sweet and tasted good.

We tried it cold but it can also be heated, my only small complaint was that it dripped off the spoon a lot but you could always thicken it with a little plain baby rice if needs be. (Posted on 19/07/2011)
Arrived on the shelf too late! Review by Mummy_to_two_monkeys

So many of the breakfast pouches are not suitable for the under 6 month bracket of babies, and my baby-monkey being a big hungry boy was weaned early ... how I wish this product had been available just a month early!
Lewis seemed to really enjoy the flavours (although I preferred the taste of the banana porridge!)
We used the breakfast pouches whilst we were camping and they are just so simple and take all the hassle out of going away - a new must have in my change-bag even just for days out!

Tasty, but hard to keep on spoon... Review by Rufus' Mummy
Quality
It was a bit disappointing to be honest. This would have got five stars if it had a few tweaks. Basically the consistency was quite runny, I don't think the portion was big enough for a Stage 2 baby, and the flavours didn't hold his attention.

Rufus seemed to like the taste, but he got distracted easily, which normally means it isn't very exciting for him.

Also the pouch we had, the meal dripped off the spoon. Not sure if all pouches are like this. It was more like a smoothie. I think if it was thicker, it would stay on the spoon and fill him up a little more.

Lastly, he cleared the bowl and needed a bit of food after... but he is a big eater.

I was disappointed as Rufus can have a slow tummy and the prune & peach were a definite USP! Also having a healthy meal ready to go was a real bonus. (Posted on 17/07/2011)
A good healthy start. Review by Riley's Mama

This breakfast smelled and looked yummy and my son did eat every bit of it, he didn't quite enjoy it as much as the banana porridge but that's because he is obsessed with Banana!
This was a lovely healthy start to the day and I would buy it again, my only criticism was the texture, I found it a little too runny which made it very messy and hard to feed because it kept running of the spoon! Other than that it's all good! (Posted on 16/07/2011)
Delicious wholesome breakfast! Review by Blake's mummy
Quality
At first I was a little sceptical on the flavour of a prune based breakfast. I had a little taste and still not being sure thought I'd see how it passed the baby test. This definitely isn't bland and I wasn't sure whether Blake would enjoy this. I then fed him the pouch and waited for an unsure expression but there wasn't one - he just opened his mouth for more until the entire pouch was empty! It was a resounding hit which is really pleasing to know that he enjoyed it, it has expanded his palate and that it was a healthy, wholesome breakfast that is quick, easy and ideal for on the go. Yummy and convenient! Review by Joey's Mummy
Quality
This tasted pleasant, not too sharp, but not at all bland, with a smooth texture. Joey really enjoyed it and ate every last drop. This product is both gluten and dairy free so would be great as a first food. Very convenient if you don’t have time to mash up the fruit and prepare the porridge – it’s all done for you! Couldn't spoon it in quick enough! Review by Sadie's Mummy
Quality
An absolute hit! My little person absolutely loved this recipe, I tasted it, and wasn't too keen - but my daughter made the sweetest little excited squeaking noises when she saw the next spoonful coming!

The whole pouch was polished off in less than 5 minutes - which may be a record!

And of course, the use of stone fruit means that it's good for the digestive system - useful as little people adjust from a milk diet to a food diet. (Posted on 11/07/2011)
